The Florida teen famous for her catchphrase “Cash me outside, how bow dah?” is going on tour, testing the boundaries of her viral fame with two shows that could net the 14-year-old a cool $100,000.
Danielle Bregoli is the misbehaving teenager first made famous on an episode of “Dr. Phil” titled “I Want To Give Up My Car-Stealing, Knife-Wielding, Twerking 13-Year-Old Daughter Who Tried To Frame Me For A Crime.” Since that episode, Bregoli has seen her fame and fortune rise, attracting 9.8 million followers on Instagram and 8.6 million total views on YouTube. That’s led to endorsement deals, appearance fees and now two test shows being presented by Live Nation that might result in a larger international tour, depending how her first shows do. Bregoli is managed by Dan Roof and Adam Kluger and repped by Kenny Layton who handles digital and personal appearance department at WME.
Her first show will be July 8 at Revolution Live in Fort Lauderdale and July 9 at the House of Blues in Houston. Bregoli doesn’t sing or perform, although the show does have a musical element with her dancing and inviting other musicians on stage.
“She’ll be vibeing some records and she’ll do a live Q&A with the audience and have some one-on-one moments with people on the stage,” Kluger explained. “The reason why teenagers and young adults are so interested in her is because she is refreshingly honest. She doesn’t care how a 14-year-old is supposed to act. She’s true to her brand.”
Bregoli shot to fame after appearing on “Dr. Phil” in September 2016 with an attitude and catch phrase that’s had surprising staying power thanks to high-profile shenanigans including a fight on a Spirit Airlines flight that led to her and mom Barbara Ann Bregoli being banned from the airlines. Since then, she’s gotten into a tussle at a pub, been busted for marijuana possession and gotten into a flame war with actor David Spade. Despite (or maybe thanks to) her notoriety, she’s started raking in endorsements for pumping companies like Fit Tea and Postmates on her Instagram and YouTube page and is charging appearance fees at concerts and events.
“What has she been doing for her income? She’s doing a lot of things,” Kluger said. “She’s about to crack 10 million followers on Instagram, that’s a business in itself. She’s doing endorsement deals and sponsorships,” as well as shopping a reality show on her life with help from IMG and building a modeling and fashion portfolio.
Bregoli is now living in Los Angeles with her mother and is working with her team to build her internet brand, shoot viral videos and prepare for her tour.
“We’re navigating unchartered territories for someone who’s become famous in a way I don’t think anyone’s become famous before,” Kluger said. “Rather than someone is going out there with the goal to try to become famous, this is the reverse — this is someone who became famous for no reason and now that she is famous, we’re trying to figure the goal for her career.”
