Camila Cabello, Pink Rule Australia’s Charts

Camila Cabello and Pink are on top Down Under.

Camila Cabello’s “Havana” (Epic/Sony) retains Australia’s singles chart crown as Pink’s Beautiful Trauma (RCA/Sony) rebounds 2-1 on the national albums survey for a fifth non-consecutive week at the summit.

Pink’s triple-platinum certified seventh album switches places with Taylor Swift’s Reputation (Big Machine/Universal), while Ed Sheeran’s Divide (Warner) holds at No. 3, Michael Buble’s perennial holiday hit Christmas (Reprise/Warner) is unmoved at No. 4 and Daryl Braithwaite enjoys a post-ARIA Awards boost as Days Go By: The Definitive Greatest Hits Collection (Sony) debuts at No. 5. Braithwaite, the former Sherbet frontman, was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame last Tuesday (Nov. 28) in Sydney and, during the ceremony,  performed “The Horses,” the Rickie Lee Jones and Walter Beckerpenned hit which appears on his new retrospective.

Braithwaite’s hits compilation leads a swag of recordings from ARIA Award winners and performers which charge up the chart. Gang Of Youths storm back up 49-12 with Go Farther In Lightness (Sony), their ARIA Album of the Year-winner, while Lorde — a performer at the ARIAs — sees her second set Melodrama (Universal) rise 18-17 and Harry Styles — winner of the ARIA Award for best international and a performer on the night — sees his self-titled debut reenter the albums chart at No. 26.

On the ARIA Singles Chart, Camila Cabello’s “Havana” featuring Young Thug snags a third straight week at the summit. The former Fifth Harmony singer’s hit is certified three-times platinum (210,000 units) in its 14 weeks on the tally. In an unchanged top 5, Post Malone holds positions No. 2 and 3 with “Rockstar” (Republic/Universal) and “I Fall Apart” (Universal), respectively, Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect” (Atlantic/Warner) is at No. 4 and Selena Gomez & Marshmello’s “Wolves” (Interscope/Universal) packs down at No. 5.
