Calvin Harris Heats Up Hot 100 With Latest ‘Summer’ Hit

The EDM star's new hit is the 23rd Billboard Hot 100 top 10 with the word 'summer' in its title.

Calvin Harris heats up the Billboard Hot 100, where his latest hit “Summer” sizzles 12-9.

The EDM star adds to the list of top 10s with the word “summer” in their titles: it’s the 23rd such song to reach the region since the Hot 100 launched in (the summer of) 1958. It’s also the second top 10 simply called summer: War’s song, a different composition, rose to No. 7 in 1976.

Here’s an updated list of all the songs with “summer” in their titles to ascend to the Hot 100’s top 10. (Oddly, only 10 of the 23 peaked during June, July or August.)
