Olly Murs Takes U.K. Album Honors With ’24 HRS’

Olly Murs today scores his fourth consecutive U.K. No. 1 album as 24 HRS (RCA/Sony) enters at the top to draw level with One Direction as the most successful X Factor graduate in terms of chart-topping albums. Clean Bandit‘s “Rockabye” (Atlantic/Warner), featuring Sean Paul and Anne-Marie, starts a second week atop the singles chart.

Murs’ album sold 58,000 units to take top spot, according to the Official Charts Company. After reaching No. 2 with his self-titled debut set in 2010, he’s topped the survey with In Case You Didn’t Know (2011), Right Place Right Time (2012), Never Been Better (2012) and now the new release.

His labelmates Little Mix dip 2-3 with “Shout Out To My Ex,” as hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd featuring Gucci Mane race 36-4 with “Black Beatles” (Interscope/Universal). The Weeknd‘s “Starboy” (Republic/XO/Universal), featuring Daft Punk, falls 4-5.
