The first dates of Brantley Gilbert’s The Ones That Like Me tour impact the latest Hot Tours tally (see list, below), as his first three shows hit the list with just under a $1 million earned in ticket sales.
The tour is currently booked in North American arenas for a 14-week stretch that continues into May. The country artist launched his tour in Worcester, Mass. with a sellout crowd at the DCU Center on Feb. 1, the first of three concerts reported from the new trek during the past week.
Joining the headliner on the road are show openers Aaron Lewis and Josh Phillips. So far 19 dates stateside are on the schedule through May 12 along with a string of five Canadian venues with shows planned in early March.
The tour is named after the second single from The Devil Don’t Sleep, Gilbert’s fourth studio album that was released in January 2017. This marks his second year touring in support of the album. Last year’s headlining run — named after the album — also played North American cities, grossing over $10 million from performances at arenas and outdoor amphitheaters throughout the year.
Following the current tour’s arena shows during the winter and spring, Gilbert will also join the lineups at various country festivals during the summer months – five are booked so far. Additional arena and shed dates for the headlining trek are also expected but have yet to be announced.
