Blink-182 has called off its tour dates with Linkin Park following the death of Chester Bennington.
The bands were scheduled to co-headline a pair of “Welcome to Blinkin Park” stadium shows, one at Citi Field in Queens, N.Y. (July 28) and the other at Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey, Pa. (July 30). Blink-182’s announcement comes after Linkin Park canceled its One More Light World Tour on Friday (July 21).
“blink-182 is wrecked by the loss of our friend and amazing musician Chester Bennington,” the group wrote in a note on social media. “We could never imagine playing blinkin park without his incredible talent and voice. It just would not be possible. We send our deepest sympathies to his family, bandmates, friends and fans. Refunds will be available at the place of purchase.”
