Blink-182 unexpectedly dropped out of a headlining spot at Cincinnati’s Bunbury Music Festival this weekend (June 1-3), as well as two other scheduled gigs happening this week.
The band announced the cancellations on Tuesday (May 29), saying that “due to unforeseen circumstances Blink-182 will be rescheduling the following shows,” which included Saturday’s (June 1) Bunbury gig on the main stage on Friday (June 1) performing just before The Chainsmokers, as well as a show on Saturday (June 2) at the Colosseum Caesars Windsor in Windsor, Ontario and a third gig at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Sioux City, Iowa.
At press time, no other information was available on the cause of the cancellations. The band has already been confirmed as one of the headliners for the 2019 Bunbury and the Windsor show has been rescheduled for Sept. 18.
The group is in the midst of a 16-date residency at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas, which kicked off on May 26 and includes an upcoming run of six dates this month, including gigs on June 8 and 9, 15 and 16 and 23 and 24. Currently, they have no other dates scheduled this summer until the make-up for the Windsor show.
