The new Billboard 200’s top 10 will be revealed on Oct. 8.

Industry forecasters suggest that Shelton’s latest — which was released Sept. 30 on Warner Bros. Nashville Records — might sell around 90,000 copies in the week ending Oct. 5.

That might be enough to debut at No. 1, but Streisand’s former chart-topper, Partners, is posing a threat to Shelton’s possible reign. Sources say Partners (which happens to include a duet with Shelton) may sell 90,000 as well. Partners will be in its third week on the chart and continues to sell well. It debuted at No. 1 with 196,000 and then slipped to No. 3 in its second frame with 127,000 (the week ending Sept. 28, down in sales by a remarkably small 35 percent).

Aside from Shelton, watch for a number of notable new arrivals to visit the top 10 next week. They include Lady Antebellum‘s 747 (which might sell 70,000) and Prince‘s Art Official Age with 45,000.
