Bizarrap & Quevedo’s ‘Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 52’ Rules Billboard Argentina Hot 100 Chart for a Third Week

Plus, Duki's "Givenchy" soars 40-2 in its second week.

Bizarrap and Quevedo nab a third week at No. 1 on the Billboard Argentina Hot 100 chart as “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 52” holds strong atop the July 30-dated survey.

It’s the third track for Bizarrap to remain in the penthouse for at least three weeks, following his featured role in Trueno’s four-week champ “Mamichula,” with Nicki Nicole, which also features Taiu and Tatool (starting the August 1, 2020-dated ranking) and his own “Bzrp Music Session, Vol. 38,” with L-Gante (seven weeks atop, starting the March 20, 2021-dated list).

Meanwhile, Duki takes home the Greatest Gainer trophy of the week as his latest release, “Givenchy,” powers 40-2 in its second week. Will the song’s striking speed take over the summit? We’ll have to wait until next chart week.  As “Givenchy” rallies to the runner-up slot, it scores the fifth-highest climb to the No. 1 or No. 2 ranks since the chart launched in 2018. Which are the other four? Let’s take a look:

Positions Jumped, Title, Artist, Chart Date, Peak Position

  • 77, “René,” Residente, March 7, 2020, No. 2
  • 74, “Miénteme,” Tini x Maria Becerra, May 8, 2021, No. 1
  • 52, “La Triple T,” Tini, May 14, 2022, No. 1
  • 44, “Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 52,” Bizarrap & Quevedo, July 16, 2022, No. 1
  • 38, “Givenchy,” Duki, July 30, 2022, No. 2

With the move, Duki captures his 10th top 10, the fourth-most among male acts. Here’s the scoreboard of overall top 10s winners on the Argentina Hot 100 tally:

  • 18, Maria Becerra
  • 14, Bad Bunny
  • 12, Bizarrap
  • 12, J Balvin
  • 11, 18,
  • 10, Duki
  • 9, Camilo
  • 9, Karol G

Elsewhere, Argentinian Lali clocks her first top 10 in her 11th try as “N5” lifts 12-9. She outdoes her personal best of the No. 21-peaking “Lindo Pero Bruto,” with Thalia in Feb. 2019.

The Hot Shot Debut of the week goes to Tiago Pzk and Jamaican producer Rvssian, as “Sex & Love” opens at No. 44. The song’s arrival, part of the Argentinian’s debut album Portales (via Warner Music Latina), bests Rvssian’s previous No. 48 high of “Nostálgico,” with Rauw Alejandro and Chris Brown (Oct. 2021).

Further, five other tracks start below the list’s top 50: Camilo and Nicki Nicole’s “Naturaleza” launches at No. 64, Trueno and J Balvin’s first collaboration, “Un Paso,” bows at No. 69, Brytiago and Wisin unite at No. 72 with “Borracho,” while Billie Eilish debuts at No. 86 with “TV.”

Lastly, Argentinian band Turf and Mexican ensemble DLD earn their first Argentina Hot 100 entry with a cover of the 90s hit “Lamento Boliviano” at No. 100. The song, originally recorded by Argentinian band Alcohol Etílico, was later popularized by Enanitos Verdes in 1994.
