Azealia Banks earns her first appearance on Billboard‘s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, starting at No. 24 (on the list dated April 21) with “Anna Wintour.” The up-tempo tribute to the Vogue editor-in-chief drew 853,000 U.S. streams and sold 3,000 downloads in the tracking week, according to Nielsen Music. Concurrently, “Wintour” brings Banks a top 10 spot on Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales, the singer/rapper’s first showing on that chart (No. 6).
Yellow Claw featuring Valentina, “Villain”
Dutch DJ duo Yellow Claw (Jim Aasgier and Nils Rondhuis) debuts at No. 17 on Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales with “Villain.” Featuring vocals from Los Angeles-based singer Valentina, the track sold 1,000 downloads in the tracking week. The ninth chart appearance for Yellow Claw, “Villain” is the first Billboard chart entry for Valentina.
Paris Hilton, “I Need You”
Paris Hilton is back on Dance Club Songs, debuting at No. 48 with her fifth chart hit, “I Need You.” The retro pop original was remixed by Stash Konig, Dirty Disco and Nitemover, among others. Hilton has two No. 1s to her credit, both in 2006: “Stars Are Blind” and “Turn It Up.” A third track that year, “Nothing in This World,” hit No. 12. Hilton returned to the chart nine years later, reaching No. 3 in 2015 with “High Off My Love.”
