Bethel Music debuts on Billboard’s Top Christian Albums chart (dated May 26) at No. 2 with Moments: Mighty Sound, which earned 5,000 equivalent album units in its first week, ending May 17, according to Nielsen Music. Of that sum, 4,000 were via traditional album sales.

For Bethel Music, which launched in 2001 as the musical arm of Redding, California-based Bethel Church, Moments marks the collective’s 11th Top Christian Albums top 10 (a total that includes five No. 1s) and its 10th to arrive in the chart’s upper sector.

The 12-song Moments, recorded live at Bethel Church, includes Bethel Music members Amanda Cook, Steffany Gretzinger, Brian Johnson and Jenn Johnson, among others.

Bethel Music first made the Top Christian Albums top 10 in its debut chart appearance, as The Loft Sessions opened at No. 3 in 2012.

Meanwhile, having represented Kelly Clarkson’s team on the just-completed 14th season of NBC’s The Voice, Kaleb Lee turned to the traditional Christian hymn, “It Is Well With My Soul” for his top-8 performance on May 14.
