Beth Ditto Reunites Gossip for Anniversary Tour

Indie rock band Gossip is reuniting on tour to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their album Music For Men.

Indie rock band Gossip is reuniting on tour to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their album Music For Men. The shows will bring Beth Ditto, Nathan Howdeshell and Hannah Billie back together on stage for the first time since 2012.

The special UK/European tour will kick off on July 4 in Herouville Saint Clair, France at Beauregard Festival. The 11-date trek will also hit Germany, Portugal, Luxembourg, The Netherlands and the U.K. The dates will close out on Aug. 18 at new LGBT+ festival Love Sensation 2019 in Dublin.

Produced by multi Grammy Award winner Rick Rubin and recorded at the historic Shangri La Studios in Malibu, Music For Men sold over 1.5 million copies, while lead single “Heavy Cross” continues to rack up thousands of streams a month.

The seminal album brought queer and body politics to the mainstream and landed the trio several magazine covers.

“We can’t believe it’s been 10 years since the release of Music For Men! We are beyond excited to reunite with our Gossip family and fans,” the band said in a release. “We’ve truly missed playing these songs and connecting with our amazing and inspiring crowds. It’ll be a sweaty, outrageous time for sure. Can’t wait to see y’all in Europe in July!”
