Pough was appointed president of Roc Nation Records in December 2017, previously spending four years at Epic Records overseeing the label’s promotion and marketing strategies as executive vp urban music and then executive vp of the label under then-Epic chairman and CEO Antonio “L.A.” Reid.

Pough, who launched his music industry career in 1990 at Motown Records as a regional promotions manager, has also worked at Island Def Jam Music Group and MCA Records, where he served as vp promotions. 

This is the second major executive shakeup at Roc Nation this year after Phil McIntyre left his post as president of Roc Nation Management

UPDATE: An earlier version of this article stated Phil McIntyre had left Roc Nation, but he remains a partner in the company after leaving his post as president of Roc Nation Management.
