Baby Keem Sets The Melodic Blue U.S. Fall Tour Dates
Two-phone Baby Keem is taking The Melodic Blue on the road.

Two-phone Baby Keem is taking The Melodic Blue on the road. The 20-year-old rapper announced a brief tour of 15 shows across the United States Thursday morning (Oct. 7) that will hit many of the country’s major cities, including Los Angeles, New York City and Atlanta.
Titled after the 16-track, 53-minute-long record of the same name he released early last month, the upcoming fall tour will be Keem’s first substantial stretch of shows in his young career, capitalizing on an already astounding 2021 for the Carson, Calif. rapper. Before Keem shared The Melodic Blue with the world in September, he appeared on Kanye West’s expansive Donda album alongside Travis Scott on “Praise God,” which garnered positive reception from fans for his extensive, show-stopping verse.
Keem also recently spoke to Billboard about the record and the trajectory of his early career, confidently describing the body of work he put together. “I don’t think music has anything out right now like this project,” Keem told Billboard. “I took my time carefully recording every vocal. I was going through a lot during that process, just becoming a man.”
The record also showcases an impressive array of effort and ability for such a young artist, and it is aided by features from industry titans like Scott and Kendrick Lamar – the latter a relative of Keem’s. “family ties,” an aptly titled pre-release single for the album, signaled Lamar’s much-anticipated return to the mic after an extensive hiatus, with the duo highlighting their organic chemistry together on the four-minute track. The LP debuted at No. 3 on Billboard‘s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart, selling roughly 53,000 equivalent album units in its first tracking week.
The Melodic Blue continued to evolve beyond its early September release date. On Sept. 21, Keem updated the record on streaming services to include previously-released loose singles “hooligan” and “no sense,” while also adding a Brent Faiyaz feature to album cut “lost souls.”
