Axwell & Ingrosso achieve their second No. 1 as a duo on Billboard‘s Dance Club Songs chart (dated May 27) with “I Love You,” featuring Kid Ink, who scores his first (2-1). Remixes from Chace, CID and David Puentez, among others, helped “Love” land at No. 1.
Formerly two-thirds of Swedish House Mafia (with Steve Angello), Axwell & Ingrosso first hit No. 1 as a twosome in March 2015 with “Something New”; since the beginning of that year, the pair’s six top 10s are the most among non-solo acts and trail only the seven each tallied by Dave Aude and Rihanna.

Before their two No.1s as a tandem, Axwell and Ingrosso each led with collaborations apart from each other: Axwell in 2004 with “Burning” (by Robbie Rivera and Axwell featuring Suzan Brittan) and Ingrosso in 2012 with “Calling (Lose My Mind)” (billed as by Sebastian Ingrosso + Alesso featuring Ryan Tedder). Meanwhile, Swedish House Mafia scattered three No. 1s, among six top 10s, in 2010-12.
Additionally, “I Love You” ranks at No. 6 on Dance/Mix Show Airplay after reaching No. 3 three weeks ago. Swedish House Mafia topped the list twice, with “Save the World,” for seven weeks in 2011, and “Don’t You Worry Child,” featuring John Martin, for 16 weeks in 2012-13.
Cheat Codes, the Los Angeles-based DJ trio of Matthew Russell, Trevor Dahl and Kevin Ford, score their second top 10 on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs with “No Promises” (12-10), featuring singer Demi Lovato, who earns her first. “Promises” sports 6 million U.S. streams and 6 million in all-format airplay audience, while growing 45 percent to 5,000 downloads sold in the tracking week, according to Nielsen Music. The song could grow further following the release of its official video May 16.
Marshmello debuts at No. 20 on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs with “Moving On,” moving 1.5 million U.S. streams and selling 4,000 downloads. It’s the seventh chart appearance, including top 10 smash “Alone,” for the mysterious masked DJ, who tweeted on May 6, “Shout out to @billmaher for having me on the show” following a comedic bit at his expense (and other masked DJs, such as deadmau5) on the previous night’s edition of HBO’s Real Time With Bill Maher.
Galantis also starts on Hot Dance/Electronic Songs with “Hunter” at No. 21. The track collected 1.4 million domestic streams while selling 4,000 downloads. The track is the ninth entry on the chart (two of which have hit the top 10) for the Swedish DJ duo.
