The first single off Aventura lead singer Romeo Santos’ collaborative album Utopía — which debuted at No. 1 on the Top Latin Albums chart (April 20) — is the group’s first charting title on Latin Airplay since 2011.
Aventura last visited the top 10 with “El Malo,” which hit No. 5 in September 2010. The bachata quartet first reached the region with “Ella y Yo” (No. 2, December 2005). Among its dozen top 10s, two hit No. 1: “Por un Segundo” (two weeks, 2009) and “Dile Al Amor” (nine weeks, 2010).
La Arrolladora’s 27th Top 10: Over on the Regional Mexican Songs airplay chart, La Arrolladora Banda El Limón de René Camacho logs its 27th top 10 as “Tiene Razón La Lógica” climbs 13-6 (5.3 million in audience, up 28%). “Tiene” is the fifth single from Calidad y Cantidad which debuted at No. 2 on the Regional Mexican Albums chart and at No. 11 on the Top Latin Albums chart (April 2018).
The tune, written by Espinoza Paz, is the band’s fifth consecutive Regional Mexican Songs top 10. Among those, “Entre Beso y Beso” ruled for eight weeks beginning in January 2018, marking the act’s 12th No. 1. The act boasts the sixth-most top 10s in the chart’s history, matching Marco Antonio Solis; Los Tigres del Norte lead with 43. It first hit the top 10 with “Que Me Vas a Dar” (No. 5) in 2001.
The stand-alone single enters the top tier thanks to an 18% boost to 1.8 million audience impressions. Raymix earns his second top 10 on the list, after “Oye Mujer” topped the chart for 12 weeks starting in April 2018.
