Arcangel & Sech’s ‘Sigues Con El’ Hits Top 10

Arcangel and Sech’s “Sigues Con El” hits the top 10 on the Latin Airplay chart as the song pushes 11-5 on the May 16 survey. While Arcangel secures his third top 10, Sech claims his fourth.

“Sigues Con El” climbs up the chart with a 15% increase in audience impressions (to 10 million) earned in the week ending May 10, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.

It’s the second straight top 10 for Arcangel as his last entry, “Zum Zum,” with Daddy Yankee and RKM & Ken-Y, peaked to No. 1 on the Nov. 17, 2018-dated chart.

Arcangel’s first top 10 was also a No. 1, when “Diosa de Los Corazones,” with Zion & Lennox, Lobo and RKM & Ken-Y spent one week at No. 1 on Nov. 3, 2012. In total, Arcangel has placed 13 entries on Hot Latin Songs. Sech, meanwhile, claims two top 10s on the current chart: “Definitivamente,” with Daddy Yankee, continues its ascent jumping 6-2.

“Sigues” is the fourth single off Arcangel’s sixth studio album Historias de Un Capricornio. The Dimelo Flow-produced track is now assisted by the bachata-tinged remix with Romeo Santos which was released April 10.

Over on the Hot Latin Songs chart which blends airplay, digital sales and streaming data, “Sigues” remains at No, 5 for a third consecutive week after peaking at No. 4 on the April 25-dated list.

“Sigues” also sees improvement on other Latin airplay charts: it moves 9-4 on the Latin Rhythm Airplay chart. It earns Arcangel his 10th top 10 and Sech his fourth.

Reik, Farruko & Camilo Say ‘Yes’: Two spots below “Sigues,” Reik, Farruko and Camilo’s “Si Me Dices Que Sí” lands at No. 7 boosted by a 32% increase in audience (to 9.2 million).

The move earns Reik its sixth top 10, Farruko his ninth, and Camilo secures his second.

“Collaborating and sharing with different artists has brought us more satisfaction than we could have imagined,” Jesús Navarro, Reik’s lead vocalist, stated via a press release. “In specific, working with Farruko and Camilo, was one of those unexpected mixes and a combination of three voices and three super different personalities, but with that same disposition of sharing and creating something different, something that excites us.”

The song was recently remixed by house DJ R3HAB who has also collaborated with Madonna, Calvin Harris, Miley Cyrus, Maluma, Bruno Mars, and others.

The song also pushes up the Latin Pop Airplay list, moving 4-2 with a 21% increase in plays for the week.
