Arcade Fire, Bon Iver Score on Hot Tours With London Concerts
Arcade Fire sits atop the latest weekly slate of top-grossing Hot Tours based on sales reported from London's SSE Arena, Wembley during the band's spring trek through Europe.

Arcade Fire sits atop the latest weekly slate of top-grossing Hot Tours (see below) based on sales reported from London’s SSE Arena, Wembley during the band’s spring trek through Europe. The Canadian rockers played the venue on April 11-13, grossing $2.3 million (£1.6 million) during the three-night engagement attended by over 30,000 fans. AEG Presents produced the event that featured Preservation Hall Jazz Band in the opening slot.
Touring in support of its July 2017 album Everything Now, Arcade Fire kicked off its tour – called the Infinite Content tour – prior to the album release, playing European dates last summer. During the fall, the band brought the tour to North America with shows planned at 26 U.S. and Canada venues, followed by a brief run through Latin America last December.
This year, the group continued the Infinite Content trek in the U.K. and 6 more European countries during April. In addition to the London engagement, shows were also set in Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow. The current run through Europe is set to wrap on April 28 in Paris, but more dates on the continent as well as in North America are planned for the summer.
Also earning a ranking on this week’s Hot Tours tally is Bon Iver, following Arcade Fire in the No. 2 slot based on its own London engagement. The band played eight shows at the Eventim Apollo during February and March, earning over $2 million (£1.5 million) from all eight performances based on a overall attendance count that reached 40,855.
The London shows followed a string of January dates in Texas and Mexico City that kicked off Bon Iver’s touring in 2018. A run through North America is set to begin in May and will include festival appearances at Bonnaroo in June and San Francisco’s Outside Lands in August.
