Partner and head of concerts at APA Nashville Steve Lassiter has announced the promotion of Brooke Ivey. Ivey has been promoted to agent in the Nashville office.
In her new role as agent, Ivey will focus on servicing the entire APA roster for corporate, special and private events, as well as nontraditional ticketed shows.
“Brooke has extensive experience in cultivating valuable opportunities for our roster,” commented Lassiter in the release. “She’s done an incredible job for our clients and I look forward to her continued success.”
Ivey has been with APA since 2015 and was nominated last October for IEBA’s Young Professional of the Year Award. The new agent is a Nashville native who graduated from Middle Tennessee State University’s Department Recording Industry in 2012.
Following her graduation, Ivey began her career at BMI working as a coordinator in the Writer Publisher Relations department where she pitched emerging talent, curated and organized various indie spotlight showcases, and managed BMI sponsored stages at Hangout Fest, Bonnaroo, SXSW, Key West Songwriters Festival, and more.
