The chart, the latest of which recaps April 2021 activity, is a monthly look at the widest reaching and most-reacted-to videos posted by musicians on Facebook Live, as tracked by media analytics company Shareablee. Rankings are determined by a formula that blends reactions, comments, shares and first seven days views.
Miguel’s April 17 upload finds the singer, her husband and friends celebrating Verdaguer’s birthday a little over a week earlier. (He turned 70 April 26.)
The livestream was one of Miguel’s first since releasing photos of her newer shorter haircut after sporting long locks for much of her career, a look some fans referenced in the video’s comments.
Miguel’s upload was No. 1 in three of the four chart metrics for the month, racking up 3.2 million views in its first seven days, plus 286,000 reactions and 100,000 comments, according to Shareablee. The video was only topped by another in overall shares; that distinction went to Ricardo Arjona, whose April 10 video performing from Antigua was shared 14,000 times to Miguel’s 12,000.
