Janelle Monae and Kimbra also led, as featured artists, on fun.‘s “We Are Young” and Gotye‘s “Somebody That I Used to Know,” respectively, in 2012.

As it crowns Rock Airplay, “No Roots” ranks at its No. 2 high for a third week on Alternative Songs, with increases in spins each week. It also places at No. 8 on Adult Alternative Songs.

The track has also crossed over to adult pop radio, rising 21-17 on Adult Pop Songs, while bubbling just under the threshold of the Pop Songs chart.
