Alan Jackson Adds Dates to His 2019 Tour

Country star Alan Jackson has added more dates to his 2019 North American tour. Following the announcement of four new shows earlier this week, Jackson has added an additional six dates to the tour that kicks off on Jan. 25 at KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky.

Jackson will now play the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City on April 12; Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on May 17; Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania, on May 18; Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas, on Aug. 10; Amway Arena in Orlando, Florida, on Sept. 20; and close out the current slate of dates on Sept. 21 at Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Jacksonville, Florida.

Earlier this week Jackson added dates in Michigan, Louisiana, Indiana and Ohio for a total of 17 slated events for 2019. These four dates go on sale Friday, while the on sale for the other newly announced dates will be announced shortly.

In 2019, Jackson will bring nearly three decades of his catalog to country fans across the nation. The Country Music Hall of Famer will play hits stemming from his debut Here in The Real World, along with anthems such as “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere” and “Good Time.”

Supporting Jackson on the 2019 trek will be young country star William Michael Morgan who garnered attention for his 2016 hit “I Met a Girl.” Select dates will also see support from “What Whiskey Does” singer Randy Houser. Additionally, many shows will feature opening slots from aspiring singer-songwriters who have performed at Jackson’s Nashville honky tonk AJ’s Good Time Bar. Jackson has a history of bringing up and coming country stars on the road for their first big tours. In the past, Brad Paisley, LeAnn Rimes, Sara Evans, Chris Young and, more recently, Jon Pardi and Lauren Alaina have all opened for Jackson on tour.
