AEG Live has hired a pair of promoters to help build its Goldenvoice division in the UK. The company announced the appointments of Laura Davidson as vice president and Oscar Tuttiett as promoter, with both arriving from Metropolis.
Davidson will report directly to AEG Live CEO Colin Chapple, who is keen on expanding his company’s UK operations. “We are delighted to welcome the hugely talented Laura and Oscar to the Goldenvoice and AEG Live team,” he said. “Both have strong promoting backgrounds having worked with a range of artists and genres.”
Goldenvoice is AEG Live’s California-based division and is best known for producing the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, among other events worldwide. It has a light footprint in the U.K., however, and the new hires are out to build the brand. AEG Live’s European headquarters is located in London.
