ADA Worldwide Completes Leadership Structure With Two Appointments

Sam Juneman is recruited to the music company as head of marketing & services, while Andrea Slobodien is named as ADA's inaugural Head of Product & Integration, Billboard can exclusively reveal.

ADA Worldwide, the independent label and services arm of Warner Music Group, today completes its reimagined leadership structure, with two key appointments.

Sam Juneman is recruited to the music company as head of marketing & services, while Andrea Slobodien is named as ADA’s inaugural head of product & integration, Billboard can exclusively reveal.

Juneman and Slobodien are both based on the West Coast and report to ADA President Cat Kreidich. Meanwhile, Ty Teixeira joins the business from DistroKid as VP of Operations, reporting to Slobodien.

With the announcement of these marketing and tech product leads, ADA can add the final pieces to its puzzle, a rep for the company says.

“We’ve had many conversations about ADA’s reinvention, about how we evolve to better serve our artists and label partners. A big part of that is making sure we’re properly set up to be agile, work efficiently, and collaborate across the organization to drive real impact,” comments Kreidich.

Tapping Juneman and Slobodien for the new leadership team, Kreidich adds, “we’re focused on innovating and supporting creators so that our artists and labels can focus on what they do best and run their businesses.”

Juneman comes to ADA after a long stint at Universal Music Group working in marketing, content, and commercial partnerships for artists including Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and Big Sean. Most recently, she served as VP of music strategy & tactics, and, in 2019, was named to Billboard’s 40 under 40 list. In her new role, Juneman leads ADA’s artist services, marketing and commercial teams, and guides its marketing efforts from audience development to commercial strategy, as well as catalog optimization and more.

Previously, Slobodien logged almost a decade in product management and innovation leadership roles across a range of companies in the music and gaming industries, most recently with ProGuides, where she served as the head of product, and as the product innovation lead for DistroKid, where she built products like Upstream, Twitch integrations, and instant mastering tools. At ADA, Slobodien is responsible for translating the business’s broader strategy into an innovative, all-encompassing product and technology vision.

Earlier, in September, the company announced that Marcus Siskind had joined as head of U.S., while Adriana Sein was named head of international.
