10K Projects Hires Brittney King Brock as President of Operations & GM

Independent record label 10K Projects has hired Brittney King Brock as its first president of operations and GM, company founder and CEO Elliot Grainge announced Thursday.

Independent record label 10K Projects has hired Brittney King Brock as its first president of operations and GM, company founder and CEO Elliot Grainge announced Thursday (May 9).

Brock will oversee all label operations, including growing the company’s staff and managing relationships with artists’ teams and distribution partners, out of 10K Projects’ Los Angeles headquarters.

“Brittney is exactly the kind of executive that we need to support the rapid growth we’re experiencing at 10K,” said Grainge in a statement. “She’s worked with some of the most successful operators in the world and I’m looking forward to her bringing her unique skill set to 10K as we forge our path in this business.”

Brock is the owner of King Creative Group, a full service creative and management agency that provides independent A&R administration, talent management, brand strategy and creative consulting. She previously served as a producer for the Oprah Winfrey Network, director of A&R at Sean Combs’ Bad Boy Entertainment and manager for Combs’ Revolt TV. She has also worked as a talent manager for artists including Usher, Justin Bieber, Bryan-Michael Cox and Mary J. Blige.

“Elliot and his team at 10K have built an impressively diverse roster of successful artists in just a couple of years,” added Brock. “I’m looking forward to getting to work and contributing to the continued success of the label.”

Founded in 2016, 10K Projects’ roster includes 6ix9ine, Trippie Redd and Lil Gnar. Earlier this month, the label signed Texas rapper Iann Dior to a long-term deal.
