The Met Gala is hands-down the year’s most stylish fundraiser. With each year supporting a different theme for the Metropolitan Museum’s Costume Institute — 2017's gala (May 1) focused on the exhibition “Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons: Art of the In-Between” — the benefit has become a red carpet extravaganza for both designers and celebrities. Kawakubo, the 74-year-old Japanese designer behind the innovative fashion house, inspired the theme of the night: avant garde. Straight from the red carpet, here the male musicians who rocked the Kawakubo-inspired night “like some boys.”
