Maroon 5 and Cardi B unveiled their cameo-packed video for “Girls Like You” on Thursday, and it’s positively full of female celebrities who make a difference in our world. It all starts with singer Adam Levine alone at the microphone on a rotating platform before female athletes, comedians, scientists, journalists and entertainers appear one-by-one behind him, dancing and lip-syncing.
The female-empowerment message of the video is loud and clear, and viewers may be wondering exactly who all the women are; a diverse cast was picked for “Girls Like You” to show the breadth of how women shape the world.
