Knight writes, "Created for the club by producers who understand only too well the powerful, all-compassing effect of rhythm, tech house has become a dominant force in modern electronic music. At its best, tech house combines the soul and groove of house with the raw, visceral energy of techno, creating records that in the right hands can deliver the perfect dancefloor experience.
What exactly constitutes a tech house record is a much-debated subject, however, as with house, techno, disco, or any genre you'd care to name, there are records that set themselves apart from the rest and stand the test of time: great pieces of music, whatever label you want to give them.
These are some of the record that I believe fall into this category; my top 35 tech house records of all time (in no particular order). Let the debate commence!"
