Winning one Grammy is a career peak for any musician. Thoughts immediately turn to where to display it, how often to bring it out at dinner parties and, of course, when you’re going to get a companion to make those killer bookends. But what happens when your Grammy haul is way, way bigger? What if you take home a literal handful, or armful, of Golden Gramophones?
First off, you need to figure out how to juggle them for the obligatory “look at all my Grammys!” photo opp. It’s the kind of awesome problem to have that more than a dozen solo artists have faced over the years, from Michael Jackson (1984) and Santana’s (2000) all-time-best eight in one night, to Beyoncé (2010), Adele (2012), Bruno Mars (2018) and Lauryn Hill (1999) trying to wrap their arms around a six-pack of Grams.
