Over the past few weeks, Diane Keaton has been sharing photos of some of her favorite pop-star fashions. And you can see why the "Annie Hall" actress likes the looks: They're very similar to her signature gender-bending, hat-loving aesthetic.
First up is Rihanna. Diane is no stranger to a brown pantsuit, rocking it on a number of red carpets or even just out-and-about getting lunch, and this 2018 look is strikingly similar to the all-brown outfit Rihanna wore (below) in a clip Keaton shared on her Instagram from New York Times' T Magazine -- but complete with the actress' characteristic turtleneck and hat.
If you thought there's no way Diane Keaton and Billie Eilish could have anything in common, you thought wrong. The two love a good all-plaid look. While the "bad guy" songstress opted for a full Burberry look, complete with a plaid mask, Keaton rocked her own version of the outfit back in 1987 at a screening of her film "Baby Boom." The actress completed the look with a long strings of pearls, and again, a hat. And just like she suggested in her Instagram caption, Keaton wore gloves.
Diane Keaton loved her daughter's Cardi B-inspired nails so much, she shared a video of them on Instagram and asked the rapper whether she approved. The clip is soundtracked by Cardi's first No. 1 Hot 100 hit "Bodak Yellow," as Keaton's daughter reveals her own version of "red bottoms": the red nail polish underneath her acrylics. While Keaton typically wears her nails short, she rocked some seriously long white claws when she received the AFI Lifetime Achievement Award back in 2017.
Diane Keaton is still on the hunt for a replica of Kanye West's massive jacket from the "I Love It" video, but she could easily pull out one of her old "Baby Boom" outfits for the boxy silhouette. OK, so they're not 10 sizes too large, and she'll probably still be able to fit through a door, but the shoulder pads definitely give off the oversize aesthetic she's looking for.
