Over the course of his five-year stint with British-Irish boy band One Direction, Harry Styles' taste in fashion has blossomed from a teen wearing purple Jack Wills hoodies to a carefully executed blend of 70s rock with a glamorous magpie feel. And similar to Madonna, brand ambassador Florence + the Machine and the ultimate Gucci fan boyJared Leto, Harry Styles can’t seem to get enough of the Alessandro Michele-helmed line’s maximalism aesthetic. In honor of his self-titled and solo debut album, which is set to release on Friday (May 12) below Billboard Style rounded up eight of Harry’s best Gucci moments for some sartorial inspiration.

For their final bow, One Direction sang their last single “Infinity.”
During a two-hour interview with BBC Radio 1 host Nick Grimshaw, Harry wore a stylish pair of black and red plaid Gucci pants balanced with a simple black dress shirt with a few buttons undone and black kicks. The two discussed a wide range of topics including his 21st birthday gift from Adele ("She gave me one of her albums ‘21’ and said ‘I did some pretty cool stuff when I was 21, good luck") to "feeling very naked" after shaving his signature floppy mane
