"She told the editor she wanted something just like the one she'd worn for the cover, which was for a really tall girl," Mackie says. "Madonna is more petite, so I made her this one."
During the 2010 Grammy Awards, Pink sang "Glitter In The Air" wearing a perfectly tailored hooded Mackie gown with a sparkling body suit beneath it that mesmerized when she began the aerial portion of her performance.
Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, Turner looked like fire while performing in a 1978 costume that Mackie says “sparkled like dynamite” when the light hit it.
