Billboard Magazine for iPad app delivers weekly issues (33 issues per year) of Billboard Magazine. Download the app and follow prompts to buy the magazine content – either by subscription or single issue. 

If you have questions about Billboard for iPad app or are experiencing problems, you will find answers to the most common questions below:

I already have a print subscription to Billboard Magazine.  Can I get the digital issues as part of my subscription?
Yes, all Billboard subscriptions include access to the iPad edition. Follow instructions below or if you cannot log in, contact Subscriptions@billboard.com.

What information do I need to access my digital issues?
To set up your account, you will need the email address associated with your account.  If Billboard Magazine does not have your email address already, you will need to provide it.

I just became a Billboard Pro Member (please allow for 24-48 hours to gain access); how do I initially sign in?

1. Click the hamburger menu on the top left corner

2. Select “Sign In” from the menu options

3. Select “Forgot your password?”

4. Enter your Email 

5. Follow the steps to create your password

6. Once your password is created, type your email and password (please note: passwords are case sensitive

7. You are now signed into the app

8. Click "Back to Library" to get started

I have a print subscription; how do I initially sign in?

I have an iTunes subscription. How do I 'Restore Purchases' and sign in?

Click on the hamburger menu at the top left corner and select  ‘Restore Purchases,’ this will prompt you to sign in via your Apple ID and Password.

P.S. refresh the app first and be sure to have iOS 10.0 or higher.

Where can I find my Username and Password?
If you have forgotten your password, click on the ’Forgot your Password’ link at sign in.

Is access to the iPad edition included for international print subscribers?
Yes, it is available to international print subscribers.

Can I buy a subscription for Billboard Magazine on the iPad?
Yes. You can get an iPad subscription to Billboard Magazine for the price noted in the iTunes store. You can also become a print subscriber by visiting www.billboard.com/subscribe.

Are back issues included in my subscription?
No, you will only have access to the issues in your current term.

How do digital subscriptions work?
If you have purchased a digital subscription through the iTunes store, you will be billed directly by Apple.

I don't see the latest issue of Billboard Magazine on the app. When will it be available?
New issues of Billboard are published each Friday (33 issues a year), so check back at that time each week to pick up the latest issue of Billboard.

Why won't my issue download?
We recommend using a stable Wi-Fi connection whenever you download an issue. Timing out for any reason might require you to start the download over again. For best results, we recommend that you disable your iPad's Auto Lock function while downloading an issue to avoid your iPad going into "sleep" mode. If you started a download or purchase and it fails for some reason, you can refresh the view by pulling the page down then letting go, then reattempt your download/purchase. 

What content is included in the app?
Everything that is in the print magazine is also in the digital issue.  

Will new issues be delivered to the app automatically?
New issues will automatically be delivered. However, you will receive a notification when your new issue is available.

What devices can the app be used with?
At this time it can only be used with iOS 10 or greater on your iPad, iPad Mini, iPad Air or iPad Pro.

If I delete an issue, can I download it again for free later?
Yes, you can archive an issue and re-download it at any time. Also, you can restore any prior iTunes purchases by selecting the ’RESTORE PURCHASES’ option presented in the hamburger menu and entering your Apple ID and password.

In-app content is frozen/non-responsive.  What can I do?
Close the app and re-open it. You can also try restarting your iPad by holding down the top button for a few seconds and sliding to power off.

How do I cancel my digital subscription?

If you purchased your digital subscription in the iTunes store, your subscription will renew automatically at the end of your term year unless you take action to cancel it. To do so, open the settings app on your iPad and select store. Tap on your Apple ID and select view Apple ID. Once your account information appears, scroll down to “Manage App Subscriptions”. Here you can turn your subscriptions off and on. If you purchased your digital subscription outside of the iTunes store, the terms and conditions will vary. Please consult the confirmation you received at the time you subscribed. Contact customer service at Subscriptions@billboard.com (only if you are a current print subscriber).
