U.K. rockers The Wombats have just shared the third track off of their upcoming fourth studio album, Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life, which drops Feb. 9. It’s called “Cheetah Tongue,” and it comes accompanied by a wonderfully bizarre video.
Premiering today exclusively via Billboard, the new clip pulls inspiration from early ’80s workout tapes, pastel colors, and Estelle Getty’s fitness routine. It might seem like an innocuous VHS homage at first, but pay attention ’til the very end for some unexpected calorie-burning methods.
“’Cheetah Tongue’ is a song about dealing with the pressures of adulthood and failing miserably,” the Wombats tell Billboard. “It’s the opening song on the album and probably the most psychedelic.”
