Weezer unveiled their latest self-titled album, aka the Black Album, on Friday (March 1). While much of the LP was released over the past months, the record contains plenty of new tracks, such as the summery “Piece of Cake” and cha-cha-esque “Byzantine.”
Weezer (Black Album) is the band’s 13th studio effort (!) and is led by the rambunctious single “Can’t Knock the Hustle,” which was released alongside a humorous music video starring Pete Wentz. Album closer “California Snow” was first released in September.
The LA-based group later dropped “Zombie Bastards,” followed by “High as a Kite” — which received a video involving a Mister Rogers parody — and “Living in L.A.”
