A new video released by the Ryan Seacrest Foundation shows Twenty One Pilots stopping by a Colorado Children’s hospital to visit with kids and answer a few burning questions.
The children asked the rock duo (composed of singer Tyler Joseph and drummer Josh Dun) about the length of time it took to learn the “Stressed Out” music video handshake, what inspired them to make music and more.
“Would you rather brush your teeth with aluminum foil or have a kindergartner pierce your ears?” one child asked, which amused Joseph and Dun, being that they used to come up with “would you rather” questions in a van for hours when they first started touring.
After playing more games and sharing some stories, Joseph left the crowd with one final piece of advice: “Don’t be afraid to be dramatic; don’t be afraid to be emotional. You’re not ridiculous, and music can kind of be the background to your life.”
Twenty One Pilots performed at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colo. on Nov. 19 as part of The Bandito Tour.
