
Rejoice, Tool fans! Even though frontman Maynard James Keenan thinks some of you are “insufferable,” he’s still willing to perform for you.
After playing one concert in 2015, the alt-metal band will return for a proper 2016 tour alongside fellow prog-y rockers Primus.

Thus far, 8 dates have been unveiled (h/t Blabbermouth), but since none of them are in the Midwest or on the East Coast, don’t be shocked if more are forthcoming.

Jan. 17 – Grand Prairie, TX – Verizon Theatre

Jan. 23 – Nashville, TN – Bridgestone Arena
Jan. 25 – Atlanta, GA – Infinite Energy Center
Jan. 26 – Charlotte, NC – Bojangles Coliseum
Keenan’s other band, Puscifer, just launched Money Shot on Oct. 30, which hit No. 30 on the Billboard 200. Tool’s previous two albums topped that same chart in 2001 and 2006.
