A bout of tendonitis has forced Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee to sit out four consecutive concerts on the hard rock band’s current farewell tour.Mötley Crüe
Most recently, Lee had to sit out Oct. 18’s show in Bangor, Maine, with Alice Cooper’s drummer, Glen Sobel, filling in. The band has yet to announce if Lee will be behind the kit for tonight (Oct. 20)’s concert in Quebec, City, Quebec. Billboard has reached out for comment.
Lee also missed an Oct. 14 show in Buffalo, N.Y., an Oct. 16 show in Bridgeport, Conn., and an Oct. 17 gig in Manchester, N.H.
Even with his injury, Lee has done his best to rev up Mötley Crüe’s crowds. Below, watch him address the Manchester audience:
But Tommy’s right wrist is still healthy, and he’s been hitting the stage to play “Home Sweet Home” on piano, using the uninjured appendage.

Motley Crue is in the middle of its 2015 farewell tour, which ends with the band’s last show ever, on Dec. 31 at Los Angeles’ Staples Center.
