As the San Diegos Padres held on to a lead over the St. Louis Cardinals on Sunday (May 13), fans rocked out to Blink-182‘s “All the Small Things.” But even though the team went on to win 5-3, one particular fan was not enthused by the pop-punk sing-along: the man who was actually singing it, Tom DeLonge himself.
The former Blink co-frontman happened to be in attendance at the Mother’s Day game, sitting right behind home plate to take in the win. Just after DeLonge shared a selfie expressing his excitement for the Padres’ 4-0 lead, the Blink-182 classic began to play, and the singer took to Instagram for another post — this time, not so excited.
“Awkward,” he simply captioned a video of himself reacting to the song (and enthusiastic fans singing along). While the one-word caption does the uncomfortable moment justice, DeLonge’s expression is even more priceless:
DeLonge has fronted Angels & Airwaves since 2005, revealing last month that a new album is in the works. Blink-182 has also hinted that new music is coming, additionally announcing a 16-date residency at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas that kicks off May 26 and will run through Nov. 17.
