Like a lot of people, Scottish rock band The Twilight Sad have been struggling to come to grips with the loss of Frightened Rabbit singer Scott Hutchison. The group, which came up on the scene with FR more than a decade ago when both bands were signed to the Fat Cat Records label and often shared bills, found the perfect way to remember Hutchison during their set at Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona on Thursday night (May 31).
They ended their set with an emotional cover of the fan favorite “Keep Yourself Warm” from 2008’s Midnight Organ Fight, with singer James Graham struggling at times to sing the chorus, “Oh you won’t find love in a/ Won’t find love in a hole/ It takes more than fucking someone/ To keep yourself warm.”
I’ll try my best to hold it together tomorrow. This is what I love doing more than anything in the world and I want to do my friend proud. I might need your help though. James
