Los Angeles pop-punk rockers The Regrettes shared an energetic new song titled “California Friends” today (Oct. 5).
“California Friends” is catchy, has a rowdy feel, and features fun lyrics like, “I think I love you but then I think/No way/I gotta go but I wanna stay/Just stay/I guess I’ll save it for another day.”
Since the band’s 2017 debut album Feel Your Feelings Fool! dropped, they have had a busy year, releasing their Attention Seeker EP in January and spending the summer playing at this year’s Coachella, Governor’s Ball, Bonaroo, Lollapalooza and other festivals.
The band has also announced that they will be joining Welles and Micky James on Alt Nation’s Advanced Placement Tour, presented by Sirius XM and Live Nation. The tour will kick off on Nov. 27 in Denver, Colo. and wrap up in San Diego, Calif. in mid-December.
