The loving tributes to late Riverdale/Beverly Hills, 90210 actor Luke Perry continued to pour in on Monday. The actor, who died at age 52 after suffering a massive stroke last week, was honored by his acting peers and fans, as well as The Killers, who cast the star in the western-themed video for their 2009 holiday single “¡Happy Birthday Guadalupe!”
“So sad to lose Luke Perry. He did an amazing job in “¡Happy Birthday Guadalupe!” for no compensation, because all went ot charity,” the band said in an Instagram post featuring snippets of Perry wandering the desert in rancher gear and a black cowboy hat as he mouthed the words to the mariachi rock tune. “An honor to have him in the video. He will be greatly missed.”
