British pop-rock band The 1975 paid a visit to the Larry David-hosted episode of Saturday Night Live on Feb. 6, performing two songs from their upcoming album, I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware.
Between Curb Your Enthusiasm’s David cracking up the audience with his spot-on Bernie Sanders impression (the Democratic presidential candidate also appeared on the show), Matt Healy and Co. rocked “The Sound” and “Love Me,” from the rock group’s forthcoming set, due out Feb. 26.
“There were no rules to this record, which is why it’s such an eclectic, long record,” Healy recently told Billboard of the new album. “The only mission statement was to make sure it was a distillation of anything we’d done before. I wanted to expand the world of the first record.”
