Slipknot announced today that Knotfest, the band’s self-curated music festival, will return for its third U.S. installment Oct. 23-25 at San Manuel Amphitheater in San Bernardino, Calif.
Iowa-bred Slipknot will close the festival on Oct. 25, and British metal icons Judas Priest will close the main stage on Oct. 24. The event’s four-stage lineup boasts a total of 50-plus acts. They include Korn, Bring Me the Horizon, Mastodon, Trivium, Corrosion of Conformity, Clutch, Mobb Deep, Ghostface Killah, Cannibal Corpse, Suicidal Tendencies, Cannibal Corpse, Gwar and Man. More bands are expected to be announced soon.

According to the press announcement, 50,000-plus fans attended Knotfest 2014, which was also held at San Manuel Amphitheater. In the past, the festival has featured such attractions as a Slipknot Museum, carnival rides, drum circles and fire-breathers.

Knotfest co-founder and 5B Artist Management president Cory Brennan noted, “We knew we had to build upon the monumental success of last year’s festival, and we believe we’ve done just that with this epic lineup of bands.”
