Somewhere between not stopping and being addicted to the shindig, Anthony Kiedis says he performed an incredible humanitarian feat while shooting for James Corden’s Late Late Show.
In an interview with Radio X host Chris Moyles, the Red Hot Chili Peppers singer said he helped revive a baby that had stopped breathing… simply by rubbing its belly. Kiedis and Corden had just filmed a dance-off (which didn’t make the episode’s final cut) when a woman came out of her house holding a baby, shouting that it couldn’t breathe.

“We all ran across the street, the lady thrust her baby into my arms, the baby was not breathing, and I thought, ‘I’m gonna try and do a little baby CPR real quick, see if I can get some air in this kid,’” Kiedis explained on the radio show. “I tried to open the mouth, [it was] locked shut. So I started rubbing the belly, bubbles came out of the mouth, the eyes rolled back into place.”
