Six months after Jonny Greenwood reported Radiohead was “fumbling” around with new music, it appears Radiohead has entered a more advanced stage in its ninth studio album.
Yesterday (May 12), the band’s longtime producer Nigel Godrich tweeted a photo of himself seated at a mixing table with the caption, “mixing Anna Wintour’s album,” with a photo of the Condé Nast artistic director.

In February, Radiohead drummer Philip Selway told Drowned in Sound that the band worked on the new album through Christmas and would pick up on it again in March. “We’ve been excited about what we’ve been doing so far,” he said. “It’s by no means finished yet, so we’ve got a way to go. It’s been a productive time though.”

Radiohead’s last album was 2011’s The King of Limbs. They self-released that LP, and it remains unknown how they’ll choose to share this one. Thom Yorke released his 2014 solo album Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes through BitTorrent so who knows what the band has in store next… a Periscope album release, anyone?
