
Chris Cornell‘s death clearly hit his former bandmates in Audioslave pretty hard. After paying tribute to the late Soundgarden singer over the weekend with System of a Down singer Serj Tankian stepping in to sing “Like a Stone” at the Rock im Park festival in Germany, Rage Against the Machine bandmates Tom Morello, Brad Wilk and Tim Commerford took a moment during a Wednesday night (June 7) show in Berlin by their latest supergroup Prophets of Rage to remember their fallen comrade again.
As spotted by Alternative Nation, the trio played a mournful instrumental version of “Like a Stone” with a single spotlight shining down on an empty mic at center stage as the audience filled in on vocals.
