Irish duo Picture This (singer Ryan Hennessy and drummer Jimmy Rainsford) have some exciting news for their fans: Not only do they have a new song and music video, but they are set to release their debut album this fall. And to kick everything off, Billboard is premiering the new tune, titled “Never Change,” along with its evocative visual below.
“’Never Change’ was inspired by the feeling of loving somebody exactly how they are and never wanting them to change a thing,” Rainsford tells Billboard. “The video signifies that we could go anywhere in the world but we always end up back home and will never change that.”
As shown with their self-titled EP, Picture This is all about the romantic lyrics, something they continued with “Never Change.” “I think it’s time/ That I tell you/ How I feel/ This is how I feel/ I get lost when I’m with you,” Hennessy sings before going into the song’s chorus.
The brand-new song will be part of the yet-to-be-titled debut album from Picture This, which Hennessy previously told Billboard will “make you feel every sort of emotion… emotions you didn’t even know you had.” While the guys are definitely planning on a fall release, they have yet to announce an official date. Considering their insane success before even releasing an LP — they sold out five nights at Dublin’s Olympia, becoming the first band to do so since R.E.M. — there are thousands of fans patiently waiting for those big reveals.
