Phish has teamed up with dessert gurus Ben & Jerry’s to create an ice cream flavor that’s bound to be a must-try, especially for dedicated fans of the band.
While the progressive rock group already has their name on a pint (Ben & Jerry’s iconic flavor Phish Food), another sweet treat is about to hit grocery store freezers in their honor called “It’s Ice… Cream,” a play on Phish’s 1991 jam “It’s Ice.”
Each pint of “It’s Ice… Cream” will contain caramel malt ice cream with almond toffee pieces, fudge fish and a caramel swirl. But the outside is nearly as good, featuring special artwork by Phish poster artist Jim Pollock.
As if the dessert weren’t tasty enough, the deal gets even sweeter with a portion of all proceeds going to The WaterWheel Foundation, which Phish founded in 1997 to oversee their array of philanthropic efforts.
