Way back in 2011, Fall Out Boy rocker Pete Wentz tweeted that he would answer fan questions live from his bathtub if he ever crossed the three million follower mark on the popular social media site. Fast forward seven years and double his followers goal, and Wentz is finally following through with that promise: On Monday afternoon (Jan 22), Wentz tweeted to his over 6 million Twitter followers that the #FallOutBath Q&A was officially happening.
Replacing bubbles with a purple M A N I A bath bomb — named after the groups latest album M A N I A that dropped Jan. 19 — the rock star did as he promised and answered fan questions while relaxing in his soothing purple concoction backed by an array of small purple colored candles.
Wentz began answering fan questions such as identifying his favorite pizza toppings and how much longer he will let his hair grow while also discussing how he liked Back to the Future 2 more than the original, and revealing his favorite M A N I A track (you’ll have to watch to find out!).
The sudsy moment between Wentz and fans was a huge hit, garnering more than 79,000 viewers, lasting just over half an hour and giving those who tuned in an intimate look into the rocker’s life — in more ways than one.
